Pond View

As seen on a recent, clear, warm Sunday morning

While sitting there I happened to notice a pair of birds (Flycatchers?) darting back and forth across the road to pluck bugs out of the air at the pond for their young, still in the nest

I really like that rear view shot of the bird on the fence post. Cool!

Such a pretty blue pond.. I like the pic of the bird sitting out over the water. Is he waiting for a snack opportunity perhaps?

Beautiful! Is that a sweet Phoebe?

I don't know Jayne, is it a Phoebe? I thought is might be but my mom thought is was a Flycatcher.

Laura, the bird is sitting on a pond lily, though these don't openup like some of them do.

I've been by this pond many times but never first thing in the morning. I was amazed at how beautiful it was with the blue sky reflecting off the water.

Great photos Sharon. I love the first one of the pond. Beautiful and peaceful looking. And also the bird sitting in the middle of the pond. What's it sitting on?

Delightful photo series here ... love the little birdies along with the beautiful watery scene. Thanks for visiting mine at Happily Retired Gal. The CALM ocean photos are shared were taken at Huntington Beach in Southern California (Surf City USA).

I really enjoy viewing all your pictures Sharon. They bring such beauty and peace to a crazy world.
Thank You for the beautiful compliment of 'family'. It sure isn't easy and takes a lot of work. I wish feelings with the inlaws were always as good as they are with our own. :)
I am also enjoying you posting pictures of so many places our ancestors settled. Lots of my dad's family came from Rhode Island, N.Y. and Mass. in the 16-1800's. Have you heard of Pawtuckett R.I?
Thanks again.:-)
