Spring is coming on strong once again. Chapmans Landing, where I took these photos, is located between the towns of Stratham and Newfields, and only about a 1/2 mile downriver from where I shot pictures of the bob houses. Though I haven't made time to stop back in to see if the bob houses are still there, it would stand to reason they are not.
Rain had fallen the previous day which helped to melt much of our snow pack along with the ice on the river. Large chunks of ice are making their way out to sea, at last. It is a welcome sight after such a long winter. The Canadian Geese are pleased (of which you will see more of later on).
I thought it was so pretty watching the mist rise from the snow and water. A fleeting moment to be sure.
Wouldn't you know that as soon as I arrived home the sun came out and it was gorgeous! I could only imagine what it must have looked like with the orange and pink shades on the river with the mist rising . . . rats! I missed it!
Suprisingly I've never actually seen a boat at this dock though I may have just missed it. A beautiful place to live (and up for sale) but there is plenty of traffic as it's a busy road.
*It's been a busy week here. I plan on catching up on blogging this week-end. Thanks for stopping by!

Fab photos today Sharon! AND, I love that you say "rats". I say that all the time... people look at me sort of odd for saying it but I love saying it.. rats rats rats rats... how fun is that!

Nice river shots! Ice is going out here in the Adirondacks, too. I just checked the 10-day forecast, every day will be above freezing,.. even going as high as 51° one day! Spring is here!
Wonderful photos. I really enjoyed the one where you can see the pretty red in the sky and its reflecing off of the water.
Yes spring is on its way!!
Yup, ice is breaking up. Must be mud season!
Great set of photos. :)
Wow, if I had $695,000 sitting around, we could be neighbors! Love your pictures!

I LOVE seeing the mist rising up from the water. Great pics!
Great photos. Cold and dreary here the last couple of days, but temps are suppose to start going back up in a few days. Have a great weekend.

Great shots! These are so pretty. Last time I drove by you couldn't even get into the parking lot! It's nice to see the ice gone.
I don't think I've ever felt so cold as I have this year Sharon...I will be so happy when the warm weather comes.
These are just beautiful pictures, I love the misty water.
