Breakfast time

I'm trying out a new layout with my photo's to make them a bit larger. Not sure if it's computer friendly unless you have widescreen but Ivar makes it work so I just wanted to give it a shot, if only temporarily. Thank you Ivar for your assistance.
If you haven't been to his blog then you are surely missing out on some phenominal photography. I suggest you stop by:

Ivar Ivrig

Sitting at Chapman's landing, trying to get some close up shots of some very uncooperative Ducks and Geese I happened to notice this Crow making a fuss. Over and over again, he just wouldn't stop.

Finally I turned around to see this right behind me . . .

What he was eating I don't know. I suspect a mouse of some sort but it's too difficult to tell.

Once he saw me looking at him, which was about 2 seconds after I took this photo, he was gone. It was breakfast to go.

It's amazing what is right around us if we only look. Since I've been doing this I've gotten much more observant of nature. Your shots of the crows is a good example,... those are excellent closeups of crows just doing their thing,... as Mother Nature intended. Nice post!

Sharon, the new layout is awesome. I can't wait to see these on my HansG at home... So, what exactly was that birdy saying? Please do not refrain from sharing the birdy dialog...

Thanks everyone for your input. I really appreciate it! I'm still not sure if I'll keep the layout but we'll see.

I always use my laptop for everything but the other night I decided to go onto the main computer for a bit. It has a beautiful new wide screen monitor. Holy cow, everyones blogs look SO much better, and a lot larger! ha haa! I should probably use it more often : )

Nancy, those Crows are so smart, they're probably using words I can't even pronounce.

Sharon, It looks stunning!
I love your header picture. My screen is a smaller 17 inch and it still looks like I am right there.

I have seen that sight too many time with meals on the go:) Some right from our freezer for the hawks!

Great shots Sharon. On my bird feeders I had to put a "No Take-aways" sign as they would grab something and be off with it to eat elsewhere were I could not see them.I wonder what they thnk I put food out for. LOL!!

Hi Ell,
It really was just a crow. I too am amazed what crows beaks look like in photos. I thought they would much less ... pronounced.

Thank you for the wonderful comments on the larger photo's. At this time I have decided to go back to my old format though. I think it works better for posting multiple pictures, which I like to do.
