Tendercrop Farm

Yesterday afternoon I had the very good fortune to meet two other New England bloggers for lunch in Newburyport. Elaine from Cafe Chatelaine, and Susan of From Beyond My Kitchen Window. We had an absolutely lovely lunch at Michaels Harborside restaurant and chatted like old friends! Thank you ladies for such a wonderful time!!!

After lunch Susan had to go home so Elaine and I took a side trip to Tendercrop Farm in Newbury. As we were heading into the store we looked to the sky to see this:

Kind of freaky!

Other people were looking too. Who knew what was going to happen next, but there was definitely some swirling action going on.

As ominous as the sky appeared the clouds finally began to look somewhat normal, like just a regular storm. Phew!

iPhone Instagram photos from a recent visit with my husband

I'll confess, all I bought were fresh eggs and a muffin. Later on I wished I'd purchased the sign over on my sidebar. The one about being 'happy as a bird with a french fry'. A feeling I wish I subscribed to more often.

Did you have a good week-end? I had a very low key Mothers Day which is just the way I like it.

Linking up with Mary's Little Red House for Mosaic Monday!

Hey, thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving your sweet comment. We had a great time in Saint John and I'll be posting something with pictures (of course) tomorrow. I love those cloud pictures! Wow! Only God could make something like that. I'm glad it didn't form into anything serious. That market looks just beautiful too. Have a super week! Blessings, Pamela

Happy Mothers Day! Those cloud photos are awesome! I once saw a real tornado cloud and it had a tinge of green like your pictures. An awful beauty about them, powerful. That is cool you had lunch with other bloggers, so nice, and the place looks sweet.

Totally freaky sky! After the outbreak of storms across the East last week, I'd have been heading for cover.

Nice that you could get out with the other bloggers. Girly time is always great fun whether with bloggers or just old girlfriends.

Wishing you a wonderful week ahead, oh, and Happy Mother's Day one day late.

Hi Sharon...WOW, great storm photos. Loved them. You were so lucky to meet two other New England bloggers. Oh, I'd LOVE that. The sign of the bird with a French fry was super, too. How adorable is that? I had a great weekend, absolutely great. Mother's Day I went to a tulip festival in Albany, N.Y., which is highlighted in my post today. Check out my tulip photos, will you? Tendercrop Farm...! We shop there every week for their meats and farm fresh produce. Have been for years. Love the photos you took. Aren't the wreaths and dried flowers gorgeous? To say nothing of their beautiful fresh bouquets.

Hi there,
I discovered your blog on another site. Your photos are very beautiful. That sky looked pretty scary. I used to live in Florida, and it almost looked like a tornado sky. I now live in Washington State near Seattle. Have been here six years and have never seen an earthquake and hope I never do... Seems no matter where you live, there is always something. Your area looks so pretty! Would love to visit there sometime. Enjoyed your blog. I will add your blog name to my list of "other nests to visit." Have a beautiful weekend. xoxo Kim
