Yesterday afternoon I had the very good fortune to meet two other New England bloggers for lunch in Newburyport. Elaine from Cafe Chatelaine, and Susan of From Beyond My Kitchen Window. We had an absolutely lovely lunch at Michaels Harborside restaurant and chatted like old friends! Thank you ladies for such a wonderful time!!!
After lunch Susan had to go home so Elaine and I took a side trip to Tendercrop Farm in Newbury. As we were heading into the store we looked to the sky to see this:

Other people were looking too. Who knew what was going to happen next, but there was definitely some swirling action going on.
As ominous as the sky appeared the clouds finally began to look somewhat normal, like just a regular storm. Phew!

I'll confess, all I bought were fresh eggs and a muffin. Later on I wished I'd purchased the sign over on my sidebar. The one about being 'happy as a bird with a french fry'. A feeling I wish I subscribed to more often.
