So here we are, back at the lighthouse one more time.
Looking out into the Atlantic and directly towards the sun, bringing into focus the silhouette of a lobster boat. A favorite view of mine.
Elise was a little freaked out by the sound of the waves lashing against the rocks under the breaker. She was looking down to see if she could see the water, but couldn't.

There I am, freezing. At least the Jackie O sunglasses helped to keep the wind out of my eyes!
I do believe they are being stalked, which can only mean one thing ... bait on board.
The following photos were taken by Elise. Remember she had a fingerprint on her lens, but with a little texture added, overall they came out pretty good. Kind of like a postcard.
Facebook photo: The girl with the longest eyelashes I've ever seen!
This is as far as we went on Dogbar breakwater, just far enough for Elise to find a rock to put her camera on. The wind was whipping and it was cold. I photoshopped out my hair that was standing up straight. Who really needs to see that anyway?
Looking back towards the city of Gloucester. Thanks for coming along! We'll be headed up to Rockport soon for a little lunch.

Great pictures- I especially like the one with the stalking seagulls :)
Ah, you're so lucky to see this any day! I long to live in MA♥
What a LOVELY day with your daughter :) Fabulous post!
What a beautiful day for a beautiful mother and daughter! I really like the shot of the lobster boat in the sunlight.
You two beauties!!!
I loved the shot of the diamond water shimmering. I have been avoiding those shots on the lake, but I think I will play with them a bit more to make the most of the shining sun on the water instead..this effect was magnificent!
The Dog Bar Breakwater & Eastern Point Light never looked better!
Love the picture of the two of you in front of the lighthouse, and all of the other ones too.
♥♥ Hugs ♥♥
What a fun adventure. Your pictures capture the sea for those of us landlocked by mountains. Beautiful.
Your daughter is beautiful!

Great pictures! I like the one below of the map great idea.
Nice tour of Gla sta..
I love the soft photos..so that was by using a thumbprint? Great new technique!
You and your daughter look like beauties!
They are all great photos - really like the one of the lobster boat and sparking water. A very pretty Mother and Daughter team.
I have a girlfriend that's a blonde and has dark long, long, long lashes. Oh what I would give for her lashes. Looks as though Elise has that unfortunate problem too.. LOL What a beauty she is.

Beautiful Sharon - including the Jackie O sunglasses!
Beautiful photos - you are both very attractive! :) xxx
I love those photos of the two of you singly and together... just so lovely!
Hi Sharon. I enjoyed this trip to Eastern Point Lighthouse...wind in hair and fabulous views. FAB.
BTW Thank Elise for sharing the map. Now I can see exactly where you were.
I can almost feel the wind chill! The water is a beautiful dark blue, it had to be very cold.
Great shots of the area. Looks like a fun time.
Sharon, you and Elise are both beauties and talented, to boot! :) Wonderful pictures!
Sigh. I'm green with envy. Love the lighthouse and breakwater pictures. Your daughter looks a lot like you. Really enjoyed these beautiful photos!
The fingerprint shots give it that faded, vintage '70s look. You shots of Gloucester are fun to see.
I also love the faded shots and the sun is wonderful. You two look like sisters!!! Great photos and what a great time you must have had!
