How I yearn to walk along the beach and feel the sun on my shoulders again. The seaweed makes for a welcome distraction and interesting scenery. When I was younger I heard they used seaweed to make ice cream. I didn’t believe it, ever. It isn’t true, right?
Btw, my daughter thought up the title and I’m running with it!

I couldn't leave a comment on the Phineas post. He is beautiful and he sounds like my Oscar. Oscar has to sleep attached to my leg every night too! Sounds like all your pets have a perfect life!
Hi, I wanted to leave a comment about Phin. It is such a nice photo. I have a black and white cat and it is tough to get a good image of his black face. But this silhouette is lovely.

An extract of Chondrus crispus seaweed ("Irish moss"), known as carrageenan, has been used as a thickener and stabilizer in all sorts of foods for probably hundreds of years. Check labels for ice creams, puddings, toothpaste, etc. - you'll see it listed. You can also buy the carrageenan flakes in some speciality stores for homemade puddings that call for it.
