Time elapsed Fall foliage

The following slideshow is a collection of images shot last year over the span of about a month.

Adjacent to our house sit's several large Maple tree's. Each year the tree's burst out with spectacular colors in the Fall. Even this year when the foliage isn't all that great on the seacoast the Maple's are putting on a glorious show!

All images were again taken with my previous camera during different times of day, different lighting, different views ... there's not a lot of rhyme or reason as I didn't plan it out that well ahead of time. Each shot was a spur of the moment thing, but it's still kind of interesting. Enjoy!

*These are also the tree's the Pileated Woodpeckers love and nested in!

Great concept and execution. I love the colors. Alas, are we going to get to shoot the colors this year? It's SNOWING!

That was a neat way to view the pictures one right after the other. Such beautiful colors. I am jealous, we don't have the deep vibrant colors this year (so far) mostly pastel changes, with the exception of a few bushes. Very nicely done.

It does go pretty quickly doesn't it. I don't think all this rain is going to help with our foliage this year. It does seem more like November.

Beautiful Fall color - thanks for sharing. Don't know if we will have much color this year or not - lots of rain. Few trees have turned - but not a whole lot. Still a little early for this part of the country.

Neat concept to show the same tree as it changes through time...nice color to the tree...the reds are my favorite in the autumn!

Absolutely wonderful, and a real inspiration. It's so good of you to show me of what I'm missing--our colors are much more muted here in eastern New Mexico. I get so homesick for New England at this time of year, but I know I can always come here for a little antidote!

I sure enjoyed the show! Beautiful colors! My husband always says that we should be up in New England for the fall colors and follow the change of colors all the way down the East coast. We keep saying, "next year". We'll see.

I'd like to see more people do a time elapsed photoshoot. It's pretty cool to see the end result! Wish I had more shots to incorporate into mine but it's okay.

Hope you are all enjoying Fall no matter where you are!

Sharon
