A wonderful angel. Just wonderful, especially against the beautiful golden hues of the tree. Perfect!

i love the way the lichen on her shoulder is the same colour as the tree behind her, so she almost becomes part of the landscape itself! and her calm and loving face!!!

These are positively gorgeous. I was never one to find cemeteries creepy... on the contrary, as you've seemed to capture, they're more serene then anything. Especially during the fall and winter, I find myself drawn to them for a solitary walk or exploration... nicely captured

So beautiful! I love how the moss on the statue echoes the color of the leaves behind... :)

It is such a coincidence...the day we got our snow and that I did the post about the snow and birds at my place, I went to our little town cemetery and took some pictures of the headstones with leaves and snow on them for a future post.
I find cemeteries so lonely feeling when the snow comes...

I see I'm not the only one fascinated by old cemeteries. Sometimes I run through our town's oldest cemetery, and I love the variety of the old headstones.

I recently spent a lovely 6 days in your neck of the woods. Crazy about the cemetaries, like you, and also took a few photos. Love this marvelous angelic piece you have posted here. Sea Witch

I just love old cemeteries and you've captured this one so well. The rust colored tree is gorgeous and I like how the color is repeated on the statue. I like the different close ups of the statute, too. Nice!
