Because you know you need it

And so do I! A little floral therapy during January never hurt anyone : )

Thank you Mary for putting the Paperwhite bug in my brain. It's been several years since I last enjoyed their lovely blooms and pungent smells. Now most of the flowers have gone by but a couple blooms are still showing their beauty on a daily basis.

I know I took some full view pictures of them in their container but where they went I have no idea! How could they just vanish into thin air?

And now my Amarylis

Woohoo!!! Doesn't that make your eyes POP! Every year my mom buys me one of these for Christmas. The colors vary but this year it is a peachy-orange color.

They may not smell but what a vision to look at!

It sure will be nice to see that first Dandelion in the Spring : )

So pretty they almost look fake! I'm ready for spring. Winter should only last a week!

Gorgeous!! How I miss that vibrant color. I agree w/ Laura, winter should only be a week each year. ;o)

They share made my eyes pop:) I almost bought paperwhites after Christmas, on a sale, and I should have. They are so beautiful! I really enjoy your photos Sharon. They look like they were hand painted by God himself. Perfection!
I also agree with Laura's statement. A one week winter would be great!

Your flowers are so pretty, and thanks for sharing. I posted pictures on my blog, of our first snow of the season this morning - just a heavy dusting, and that was enough. I am ready for Spring now!

Those are beautiful pictures of very beautiful flowers! I too find flowers to be a great pick-me-up in winter. Yesterday, in fact, I bought a bouquet of lavender daisies when I was grocery shopping. And last year I grew tulip bulbs in a glass vase during the the winter months. The tulips were so nice when they finally bloomed!

Oh such pretty pictures, I have not seen an orange Amarylis, it's so pretty orange is one of my fave colors.

Last year I was given a red one I was so sad when it died, I found a silk one in a glass vase it looks so real, its a beauty !! !!

Thanks for the peek at Spring :)
