When you wish upon a Star . . .
I know these pictures are large but they are my favorites : )
I found the victorian ornaments at Bombay Co several years ago. They were too expensive to buy before Christmas so I scrambled to get what I could after Christmas when they were 70% off. I still love them. I also love having our tree in colors of pink, gold, rose, soft green, and white.
My husband found the beaded garland recently at TJ Maxx. Luckily he likes shades of rose too!
A special Violin ornament for my younger daughter
'Dear Santa, I really have been a good girl this year '
Barbie graces our presence on Christmas too
Everyone should have a Phin of their own under the tree at Christmas time
Seeing the tree in a new light
How Santa might see things

Your photos made me gasp just because they are sooo pretty. The peek-a-boo shot is very creative. I'm getting a new camera for Christmas from Hubby so hope to become as good at shooting as you are. Happy Holidays and thanks so much for sharing your favorite photos.

As a side note: You are lucky to have those beautiful Bombay Co. ornaments since they went out of business just this year I believe. They're quite lovely.

Sharon, these are amazing. I love the peekaboo shot at the end - Howie wonders if you think he might be getting one of those cute Phinnies under his tree too if he is extra specially good this year?
xxxoooo
Please, Santa, don't bring me another cat under the tree. Oh, wait a minute, I don't have a tree this year, whew, I'm safe! LOVE your beautiful tree. I have quite a few of the Barbie ornaments too. The picture from outside is so pretty. Merry Christmas!
Sharon,
Your tree is fabulous and the decorations are beautiful... It is like a real Christmas tree should be! Breathtaking inside and out! Well, underneath too where Phin can feel the warmth of the lights and get a first hand view of the up above.
I loved youe 'BOO' picture. You are becoming quite the photographer!
Please try to stay warm. We are headed to my niece's wedding tomorrow in Idaho where it will be -12! We are suppose to get 8-12 inches of new snow by tomorrow night. Aren't you guys about the same way?
I am glad you are back and hope the electricity stays on for you all.
Have a very Merry Christmas!
Sharon,
Your artistic talent goes way beyond painting. A Christmas in New England is so, so beautiful and you showcase it so well! The ice, the ornaments, and your trees... Put me in a very good mood this morning :o)

Your tree is very pretty! Everything looks so warm and festive. I especially like the ornament under the tree - Phin.:)
Love the pretty ornaments and the gorgeous pictures of them. But my favorite is the peek a boo shot at the end...very clever!
Oh what pretty ornaments! Love all your shots, especially the peekaboo shot at the end. :)
Wishing you and your family a very merry Christmas!
xoxo,
Mary
A beautiful blog Sharon. Absolutely stunning decorations especially the violin. It does not seem the same here without the snow to go with it. We will spend Christmas day having a barbeque alongside the swimming pool.
Oh my gosh! I totally took a picture of myself in an ornament too and will be posting it in the next day or two.
Great minds must think alike! :)
Love that photo of the tree in the window...
And I appreciate a gal who isn't afraid of driving in the snow. (The older I get, the more petrified I am.)
Those are such great photos!
