A Frosty Morning

As many times as I've taken pictures at the Bay there's just something about it that keeps me coming back for more. It's very peaceful and quiet. I feel a solitude when I'm there.

When I first arrived on this very chilly morning I thought there wouldn't be much to see, and then I realized there was plenty to see. Just get down there and look at it!

Frost

cat tails

Nothing escapes Mother Natures touch on this morning. It's all blanketed in white with millions of tiny ice crystals.

From November 08

And there will be more Bay photos as I have many I haven't used yet. I hope you won't mind.

Beautiful! It reminds me very much of home (Sweden).

Frost makes everything look so light and airy... sort of like a fairyland. Keep the photos coming... everything here is gray and brown... raining... no snow or frost on the ground so my outdoor photos are not appealing at all.. I'll look at yours instead! ;-))

How pretty, Sharon! Is that a cattail that has exploded? Very cool!

Sharon, thank you for sharing your little paradise with in pictures. The music is so nice, too. Stay warm and dry...

So beautiful and I love the way Jack Frost leaves his magical touch. You really caught the frost perfectly with your camera.
I am looking forward to many more pictures.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Those are amazing photos. Seeing the frost crystals up close like that is really neat.
I also love the picture you have in your header. I wish I could buy that to display in my home!

I love the texture of your ice crystals. I have always been interested in photographing interesting textures but I have not gotten the hang of it yet like you obviously do.

The frost is lovely and makes everything look like it's been dipped in sugar. However, I still prefer the dew. lol!

Oh, my gosh!! These are just beautiful, Sharon.

How did you get the pictures so large? They are so dramatic!

Are you using minima stretch? So nice seeing these. Love the ducks, too.

Thank you Di! I just took it this morning after dropping my daughter off at work : )

Kate, I'm going to write a post on photo sizing today I think. For some reason I am so blog-unmotivated lately. I need to get my fanny in gear and leave more comments, as well as post more often!

Thank you for stopping by friends : )
