We have seen the female only a few times, but are assuming it is because she is taking care of the babies. He is at the feeder on a regular basis though. They are so darling!
Great picture, Sharon! They are hard to photograph. Don't you love watching them flitter around? I used to feed the hummingbirds too, but they get stuck in our garage and it takes forever to get them out. I'm a panicky mess watching them try to get out of the garage!

Brent and I sat outside last night during dinner and watched the birds. It was wonderful!

We had one stuck in our garage once too. Brent gently guided it out the door with his hand, but since then I've always worried.

I love watching hummingbirds!! My mom had 3 of them one year. I guess this year they have had only 2. But they are fun to watch!!
