I mentioned in my last post that I was invited to a Blogger Retreat in Rhode Island but didn't really say much else about it. I can tell you this, it was a wonderful experience! One I'll not soon forget.
My next few posts will most likely be about the Farmcoast area, where the ladies and I met up, and spent Thursday together. But first I wanted to show you where I was fortunate enough to be able to spend the previous night.

Four Corners Schoolhouse No. 1 is located in Tiverton, Rhode Island, and owned and operated by Adam and Kristin Salveira. The Salveira's, along with their 4 young children did ALL the renovation work themselves! Adam has a regular full time job, Kristin works part time, runs the kids around to all their activities, plus they have a farm! These are two on-the-go people!

Personally I could just move right in and be perfectly happy. I wish my husband could have made the journey as well I know he would have loved it. The house possesses clean, simple lines, nautical colors, and somewhat of a Pottery Barn feel.
Enjoy the photos!

Pull the rope and ring the schoolhouse bell! One of Kristin's children demonstrated this particular feature for me : )

All authentic/historic school items on the walls, and throughout the schoolhouse, were found by Adam, either on eBay or local antiques shops.

Awesome pump style faucet. The whole black and white scheme is outstanding. Unfortunately I didn't take a photo of the front of the cabinet but trust me, it was elegant.

A personalized greeting!

Okay, how come my house isn't this nice?

Talk about a quiet, peaceful view. There are plenty of fields and cows along the
Farmcoast so I suppose the name fits perfectly! The whole area seems like a cross between Vermont and Gloucester, Mass.
