Ahh ... those sultry and warm first days of Spring. It was like a brief summer romance that ended all to soon, leaving us yearning for more. We bid you ado as we move forward towards April and more seasonable temperatures.
You gave us lunch outside, toes in the sand, sunburns, tops down and windows wide open. Flowers blooming, grass greening, and Bluebirds nesting. Nights without an extra blanket, mornings without slippers.
Our summertime souls were awakened.

Just a brief update on our Bluebirds. She has been laying an egg a day for the past 4 days! I'm hoping she will start incubating them by tomorrow. It's been quite cold here at night but I'm told the eggs should be okay. I hope so!

Joyful yellow! The weather has finally gotten back to normal here and has been for the past week. I've actually been wearing a light jacket.

Love seeing the spring photos...that yellow is so pretty.
We are heading into Autumn now...so everything is slowly turning...
You are so right about the yellow. It just makes my heart smile. I love this time of year and all the beautiful colors. Hope in the future we get to see some cute little baby birdies.
Loved the photos, Sharon. Forsythia definitely is a harbinger of spring. Unfortunately, I think it's going to be frosted with white snow around here very soon. I'm c-c-c-c-cold. Topsy turvy weather has my head spinning. Hope you have a nice weekend. Susan
Great photos. Forsythia is so pretty. It definitely says Spring.
Enjoy your weekend.
I always think of yellow as a spring color. I find myself being drawn to that color for summer too. Guess I want it to be spring more then summer:)
Love the little alcove to the church!
