Here in New Hampshire we don't have much for flowers yet. Daffodils always lead the way and it's so nice to see their sunny faces. Forsythia are just starting to bloom, as are Tulips and Ground Phlox. The trees are budding, getting ready for the big show. I can hardly wait!
In the mean time I've been buying flowers for inside the house. Pinks and reds to stimulate my senses.

And now to my Thank-you ...
I'd like to send a sincere thank-you to my friend, Cindy, from Custom Comforts, for the lovely Ball canning jar! I just adore the jar and have kept flowers in it almost since the moment it arrived on my doorstep. I have one or two other canning jars but nothing as colorful as this one. If you look closely, as Phineas did, you'll also see an adorable, personalized note tied up in the box (Phin was a big fan of the raffia and tried to make off with the note). A sweet touch. Again, thank you Cindy. You are too kind.
Wishing everyone a lovely Easter. Do you have plans? We'll be going to my in-laws for a Roast Pork dinner. The weather is looking good too, and I'll tell you, we deserve it!

Those flowers would certainly perk anyone up! Since we've been back in IL, it has done nothing but rain! It is cold and windy. Since Easter is so late this year, we are home to enjoy it with the whole family. My sister is having everyone over and Jim and I, along with my daughter and her family, are driving up for the event. Have a wonderful Easter!
Lovely Header pic and blog look!
Have you ever made mason jars, into little lamps? You can buy the electrical part, in a store selling decorations. It simply screws on, where the top goes. Then get a lamp shade holder and shade.
They make lovely ambiance lighting.
And if the mason jar is a clear one, you can fill it with seasonal things. Like cinnamon Valentine candy for Val. Day. And jelly beans, at this time of year. :-)
Wishing you a lovely rest of the weekend. With nice weather too!
Gentle hugs,
.♥.
Beautiful photos of your spring flowers. There is nothing blooming here yet but just hearing of the forsythia in bloom in N.H. means it will be blooming in about 2 weeks, if the weather warms up! What a thoughtful gift you received. I love those blue jars but they are not to be found here. Have a blessed Easter weekend! Pamela
Thanks for sharing your beautiful flowers.
Happy Easter!
Oh so beautiful! Tulips - my favorite :) It must be spring, right!? Hehe! Love the kitty & the Mason jar!
Ohhhhh, lovely photos of the flowers. Enjoyed seeing kitty with the canning jar, too.
Here in Massachusetts we didn't have frost on the pumpkin last night. We had frost on the pansies! Yep, my pansies have a light coating of snow. Harumphhhhhh.
Take care and have a great weekend. Susan Oh! I'm making a spoon roast and spiral ham---Easter dinner for about 10. Should be festive.
Spring has sprung inside your home! I absolutely love the beach photos in the other post! I'm homesick for a place that I've only visited over the years. Wish I was still young and I would be there in a heartbeat!
You DO deserve it after your very long winter and working so hard at this current painting job you have been at.
Love the flowers and the Ball canning jar. My great grandmother's maiden name was Ball. Any relation to the jar company? I dunno.
Enjoy your roast pork on Sunday. :-)

As always lady your images are gorgeous and I especially love the pinks. I love your gift from Custom Comforts. We have tulips and dogwoods and flowering everything here. Spring is at your doorstep. Open up and let it in. Have a beautiful Happy Easter. Carol
I sure love flowers in the house, but there are 6 reasons I can't keep them anywhere but behind closed doors (or sometimes on the mantle)! Have a happy Easter!
Once again, a pleasure to view your photographs... great work!
Sharon, lovely shots. I do so love the colours of spring, inside and outside. We have a beautiful indoor arrangement with Lilies and things!
Our growth outside seems to match yours!
Love the new header!
So very pretty! We are just a little ahead of you -- flowering cherries are out right now... Wishing you beautiful spring weather and a joyous Easter, Sharon.

Gorgeous flowers and a very beautiful and useful jar too.
After church tomorrow morning, we're off for a picnic in a bluebell wood. We've been cooking all evening and can't wait to eat the goodies.

Beautiful! I also love the new Header... thanks for sharing your art!
Just beautiful Sharon! If I had not been able to buy my weekly bouquet of tulips I don't think I would have made it through this long winter! Flowers just seem to warm the soul. Have a wonderful Easter, the sun is shining! From all of us here at Dog Trot Farm.
Wow I bet your house looks gorgeous with all those blooms.
Some of the flowers have started blooming here.
I bought some tulips for the Easter table. I have one of those blue Ball jars too. I love putting either white or yellow flowers in them.
Hope you had a wonderful Easter.
What beautiful photos! Happy Easter!
