Mid October Mosaic Monday

A local farm on a bright, autumns day

* * * * * * * * *

And since it's Sunday, and Mosaic Monday is fast approaching, I thought I'd submit a few photos.

  • I'm not sure what the Chickadee found so enticing about the Mum but it returned several times
  • Who doesn't love a Wooley Bear in the Fall
  • A Dandelion ready to hand itself over to winter
  • Autumn leaves reflected in our birdbath

Great choices for your mosaic! I love the woolly caterpillar! He's all dressed up for the winter! And the chickadee looks lovely on the mum! Great reflection in your birdbath! Very clever catch!

Hey Sharon,
This is my favorite time of year and your pictures capture it beautifully! I'm much more a land-lubber than a shore gal!

I forgot to mention that I LOVE your new banner!!!

Your pictures have beautifully captured the autumn season. Everything looks so beautiful and vibrant. That little chickadee is just so sweet. I understand parts of Vermont have already had snow. Is it chilly where you are? This weekend it even feels like fall here in Southern California.

Thanks for sharing your pretty touches of Fall. Still not a lot of color in the trees here.

Such wonderful Autumn loveliness! I think I like the Wooly Bear the best, but then there's the chickadee, and the reflection in the bird bath and the wonderful color and .... Beautiful!

Whenever anyone posts a photo of a pretty little chickadee I think if Mae West and W.C. Fields in 'My Little Chickadee'.

I should do a post about it sometime.

Sweet chickadee shots! You are making me hunger for more Fall color than we have around here. Happy Mosaic Monday!

Omigosh, how'd you get that chickadee to balance on the mum that way? That's too cute and that you captured it is pretty amazing. The first photo is so dreamy...

Your wooly caterpillar has a lot more orange on it than the ones I've seen around here... does that mean that our winter will be worse than yours?

Your images are so beautiful, Sharon! Thanks so much for sharing at MM. :)

What a gorgeous mosaic! I LOVE the big fat wooly worms...although we're hoping his size really doesn't predict another bad winter...last year was a hard one.

I was going to say gorgeous but it's probably been said many times more than the person above me! So I will say luscious. I love fall.

Love your mosaic and the farm picture. We love the wooly bear too, especially this year with it's wide brown band is supposed to mean a mild winter : ))
