Jon and Michelle

You may remember in my last post I said that we were going to my nieces wedding yesterday (Saturday). Well, I thought I'd share a few photos with you, mosaic style.

The wedding was held in my parents backyard down under the apple trees. It was the spot I had hoped to be married in almost 20 years ago but was too afraid of bad weather. Fortunately for Jon and Michelle Hurricane Earl moved out quickly!

My mother made the wedding cake, the mother of the bride (my sister in-law) along with the mother of the groom made all the cupcakes, and I made the bouquets, which were very simple. The tags on the huge old oak tree in my parents yard had all the guests names and table numbers.

I love the picture of Jon and Michelle with the ring bearer and flower girl. So darned cute! It was a fantastic evening and we all had a great time.

Here are a couple shots of my parents house. One before dark . . .

. . . and one after

Considering I took around 400 photos (many duplicates) this is just a few of my favorites. It was definitely a night the family won't forget!

Beautiful! I love weddings! I like how the names were wrapped around the tree, what a unique idea. Whenever I go to a wedding I take lots of pictures too. I like to pretend that I'm the photographer. You actually got to be the photographer! You've got the skill and talent for it!

Gorgeous!!! You seriously need to think about regularly hiring yourself out as a wedding photographer......but knowing you and your quest for perfection, you would probably stress yourself out!
