A simple photo from this Spring. How I adore Bluets.

Thank you to everyone who visited or left comments on Jon and Michelle's wedding post. I can't say I've seen a bride as happy and glowing as my niece in a long time. Jon is a sweet guy and they two of them will have a good life together. Photographing her wedding (as an amateur/family member) was a true joy.
I apologize for not commenting on anyone else's blog lately. I have to admit I'm in a bit of a funk. Maybe going back to work and getting back on a regular schedule (of craziness) will help smooth things out.
My goodness, it's time to pick apples and bake a pie!
How about you? Are you feeling 'Fall-ish?'

I was going to say... I thought these were "out of season". I happen to have a photo or two of these from this past spring too. Didn't know what they were called, though! In fact, if its not a Tulip, rose, daisy, or sunflower there is a good chance I have no clue what it is.
Cabin Fever in Vermont
I love the depth of field on this shot!
It's definitely fallish outside! The leaves are starting to turn on some of the trees, and falling off of others! The temperatures are cooling down, especially in the evenings. I LOVE the fall!
No, Sharon, I'm definitely not feeling fallish yet. I'm hoping to stretch out the last, ebbing days of summer as much as possible.
I will venture up into the attic to bring down my box of amber glass. So that's a start to fall decorating.
Autumn is probably my favorite season but I don't want it to come full steam ahead just yet.
Lovely photo, by the way. Susan
Stunning. I love the Dof and everything about this.
Love your floral shots as always.
Feeling Fallish? You bet! Got a taste of it today with cooler temps.
I even wore a sweater earlier this morning.
What a beautiful photo Sharon. Yes, I am so ready to fall into the autumn season!

I'm looking forward to fall and going apple-picking with my boys this month! Hope you feel better soon.
((hugs for overcoming funk))
this is a gorgeous shot!
oh, this is gorgeous!!!
Whew! I thought I was the only one behind....I have been spot reading blogs for about a month now, because I have been so busy in my life...I feel guilty because I consider all of my blog friends as true friends....so don't worry, I am just relieved that I am not the only one. ha
The photo in this blogpost was great, loved it!
I love bluetts too; they are such sweet little flowers.
Routines are a good thing, even if they are crazy.
Beautiful pic Sharon! I am feeling a bit Fallish ..... but really don't want to let Summer go yet. But that pie you are getting ready to bake sure sounds good!!
No, not feeling fallish at all. I am holding on to every bit of summer I can capture. We had very few warm summer days so I'm hoping September and October will hold a warm surprise for us. You're not alone, I'm feeling a bit of a funk too.
What a beautiful photograph, Sharon. Love that bokeh, too - and the light!
Not feeling too fall-ish yet but it's coming. When I can bake an apple pie, now that's when I'll feel it!
Beautiful flowers!! I absolutely adore The Fall season. Definitely my favorite. There's something about the feel, the smells, the tastes. :)
Beautiful photos... and yes, I definitely am in Fall-mode! :)
Love your "simple" photo. It's beautiful!
