Queen Annes Lace

That Queen Anne, she sure is something! The name definitely fits the flower.

After seeing Mary's 'All QAL, All the Time' (lol!) I knew I just had to post some of my QAL. There's plenty more where these came from but somehow I doubt I'll get them all posted this year.

Today was a pretty good day. For some reason it feels like a Sunday though. Tomorrow will be like Groundhog Day ... we'll get up and do it all over again.

We did a little shopping in Kittery, Maine and it was an absolute mad house! If you've ever been to Kittery, Maine you know it's one of the shopping meca's of New England. Kind of like North Conway, NH. Anyway, after struggling to find a place to park, twice, we did some quick shopping and got the heck out of there! Elise and I made my husband stop at DQ on the way home for some sugar therapy.

Do you have any big plans for Sunday?

My husband has to go back to work early from vacation and he's not happy about it. He already had to work Monday on his Birthday. As for the girls and I, it's all up in the air. Sunday is like a box of chocolates!

Beautiful photos Sharon. Thanks for the link to Mary's. I think my QAL is pretty much gone...or it could just be in the perfect stage for photographing!!!!

Love the pictures... We call these flowers Cowslips in England (well at least were I was brought up) and even though I think they're classed as a weed, I think they're just beautiful. Have a lovely Sunday. I'll be happy with a quiet cup of tea before my girls wake up! Lx

My favorite roadside flower. Love the second shot. Sunday will find us shopping for two great grandbabies. One of them was just born and another due next week.

Sundays around here are truly a day of rest for us. It's the only day The Frenchman and I have off together until mid-September and this week, I have just the one day off period. I'm not requiring much of myself today.

I am so enjoying your blog! Beautiful pictures. I have been to Kittery, but it was a nice drive by, so I didn't get to experience the madness!
Have a fabulous day!

For being a roadside flower the Queen is very regal. Loved your second photo Sharon. As far as Kittery goes it's the wrong time of year to go near that place. Okay, there is never a good time to go near the place. But, if I did you can be certain I would be stopping at the Maine Diner for blueberry pie a la mode

I thought the first photo, with the butterfly, was perfect, till I got to the third one, with the water droplets. That one is heaven!
