I know I've posted beach shots for the last two posts but I hope you won't mind if I show you just a few more. There were so many cute kids at the beach that is just melted my heart. Oh to be so young and care free again . . .
This little girl made my heart melt. Just look at those curls and her hands clasped as she runs to meet her mom. *sigh* She's like a little angel.
A most excellent surfer dude. Never saw him shreddin' the waves but he looks like he's all business. This kid rocks!
Okay, so in the top picture, that would be me when I was little girl. Only I might have a cup or two to try and make a castle with. We never had the 'real' beach toys to bring along. If I got lucky I might make friends with some other girl who did! I was seriously deprived.
But seriously? These kids were the most creative kids on the beach. I mean really, who throws sand up in the air just to see the patterns it makes in the sky? I've been to the beach a lot, but throwing sand was always a no-no. I loved that the moms just sat back in beach chairs and let the kids do their thing.
And this . . .
. . . this is my favorite. It gives you and idea of why the kids were all having so much fun.
Now I want to go back to the beach!
Now I want to go back to the beach!

Loved your beach shots, Sharon, and the last one was my fave, too. Great shot. susan
You know, my siblings and I had very few toys too. But we had oodles of fun with each other and all the other kids in the neighborhood playing outdoors. It doesn't take a lot of toys to make magic happen.

Catching up on several posts was absolutely enjoyable and relaxing! You take amazing photos. Love the large rock in the water so clear you can see above and below! Cool! Each picture evokes special memories and emotions. Thanks!
Love these photos! Made our own toys growing up also.
Enjoy your weekend.
Fun photos. All you really need is a pail and shovel (for digging and carrying treasures home.) (Well that is all I remember taking to the beach as a kid). Sand throwing was a big no no! It is a good thing the beach was not crowded! Look at all the seaweed, it must have been low tide.I can smell the ocean air! Thanks for taking us along.
I love the surfer dude!
I'll never forget seeing the ocean for the first time when we went to Florida. Magical. For kids, the ocean is simply so massive and magical. Wonderful shots Sharon. I am still smiling.
Such a joyful day. Sea Witch
these are heart melting for sure. love them - they are having such a good time.
Don;t think I had a bucket when we played on the beach when I was a kid.It amazes me when I see what people bring to the beach nowadays. We had nothing, just some sandwiches what were sandy. LOL And maybe some water. But that was just after the war.We were not used to more so didn't miss it. I love your pictures of these kids And of course they had fun. which kid doesn't.
Really quality shots here Sharon! You captured the essence of being a child ;) Great post!
You're so lucky to have a nice beach nearby, Sharon! That little surfer dude is cute - and so young to be surfing - or at least attempting to surf!
Beautiful photos Sharon...that last one is an award winner...now find some place to submit it!!!
Fantastic!
These are exceptional photos! I love each and everyone of them. Have you heard of imagekind? Bet you could sell prints of these there!

Imagination is the best toy! All the pictures are fabulous. I especially love the last one of the little girl throwing sand in the air. There is nothing better or more creative than imagination!
Thank you for all the beautiful pictures. It is always a gift to look at your blog.
