It's been a long week and I'm so glad it's finally Saturday. My neck, shoulder, and hand hurts from painting all week. That said, after months of being unemployed, it's good to be back to work as of late.
This morning I went out fairly early to do a little photography. The air was still, the dew was fresh from the rain we had last night, the sun was shining ... perfect.

The Robin's song is the most delightful music on a Spring morning
I've had this shot in my mind for a few days, only I didn't anticipate the sparkle of dew. Every where I went this week I kept looking for a field of Dandelions that had gone to seed. This morning, just by chance, I happened to spot one. Even the sun flare looks cool.
Try to find a field of fluffy dandelions of your own to photograph. It kinda looks like frost.

I love a peaceful morning. It feels like summer.
Almost.
My Saturday:
What are your plans for a delightful Saturday? Make sure to do something for yourself!
Almost.
My Saturday:
- Watching the Grand March: tonight my daughter is going to the Junior Prom. Her boyfriend of a year and a half won't take her so instead she's going with friends. As a mom I find this a little distressing but I'm sure she'll have a good time all the same.
- Hopefully I will finally be able to paint my other daughters bedroom before the week-end is over! Just getting to the walls is a challenge
- Enjoying the Banana Bread I made this morning
- A little cleaning, a little decorating
- An ice cream cone
- Finally posting on my blog

Let's see... it is now 1PM and I have done four loads of laundry, snuggled with hubby, walked on the treadmill, helped hubby get his mower deck back on so he could mow, blogged, fixed lunch, and now I am off to clean this house! Whew. I need to work a nap in there someplace.
Love your springtime Robin and dandelions Sharon!
Beautiful photos! Have a nice weekend ♥ As for me, I'll be recovering from my finals!
Nice closeups. Wish I could say I have accomplished a lot so far today, but I can't. I am in slow motion today.
Have a great weekend.
Beautiful photo's as usual.I have a lazy day today.
Have a nice weekend Sharon
Um, yes. I would feel the same way if daughter's boyfriend refused to take her to a prom. AND, I am not one to keep my big mouth shut either. Oh well... I hope she has a blast without him.
Delightful Saturday? No... just errands to Best Buy for printer ink and a trip to Home Depot for a big fluorescent light bulb for my laundry room.
Glad you are working again!

OH!! Sharon, that dandelion shot is simply exquisite. The dew makes it look like sugar. Wow!
Today I accomplished most of what I set out to do. I don't want to push myself too hard, you know . . .
xo
Wow...LOVED those dandelion puffs..they are so white and puffy!!! I took some pix of them here today, but no dew so they don't look nearly as wonderful..but I do like the seed puffs!
Your photos are wonderful, as always.
I admire your daughter for going with a bunch of friends...I didn't get asked to my proms and back then, girls never went alone...I regret not being able to do that.
Your dandelion photo is wonderful! They say the best time to take photos for light is early morning or right around sunset. You get a uniqueness to the photos that way.
My Saturday consisted of doing laundry and hanging it out on the line. It is sunny and 85 degrees out here.
Banana bread sounds delicious along with that ice-cream cone! :0)
Sharon, that dandelion pic is gorgeous, and I also love the last shot -- is there anything more beautiful than the soft light of morning?
I'm home tonight from a day spent at decorator showhouse -- so very beautiful, but it makes me very disappointed with my own house and garden... lol
Beautiful photos, Sharon! I hope to become a resident of Blogland soon, and I've got my eye on a great camera (not that I can compete).
That photo of the dandelion puffs is absolutely exquisite! Sounds like a good Saturday for you!
Gorgeous --- you know what they say "the early bird catches the worm"! No pun intended!!! Love all three photos!
It sounds like you had a busy, busy Saturday! We watched my soon to be daughter-in-law Emily receive her Master in Education yesterday, cooked a little, went to Emily's (and her brother and cousin's)grad party, almost forgot to go by and feed my grand dog's their dinner and let them out for a potty break (thankfully their parents called and reminded me) and then worked on grad pictures.
Side note -- things to do before next Saturday -- find Sharon's daughter and new boyfriend!!!! I bet she had a much better time with her friends then she would have had with the bf!!!! BTW what was his excuse for not escorting her to the prom????
By any chance did you make enough banana bread for the rest of us ;)
Have a beautiful Sunday!!!!!!!
You always have the most beautiful landscape photos! Loved your Robin too! An ice cream cone sounds like a good idea, think I'm going to make the hubby take me out for one after we hit the book store. Have a nice Sunday!
I love that dandelion photo! It looks like really kewl with the morning dew all sparkly. Congratulations on your new job. I hope that it doesn't stop you from taking and posting your beautiful photos.
I have to agree with the others, your dandelion shot is exquisite. But the other photos are gorgeous too ...you've got an eye for composition, fershur! :) Glad to have found you through Kate's blog.
Love that dandelion shot. You're right it does look like frost.
Saturday, wasn't that exciting but today I had afternoon tea at the Inn by the Bandstand in Exeter. I found out about the Inn from your blog, a post around Christmas.
So thanks, we had a great time at the Inn.
Why won't your daughter's boyfriend take her to the prom? Sounds a bit mean... Love the dandelion photo - so gorgeous and these photos really give a sense that summer is on its way! Sorry to hear about the painting pain tho...xxx
Beautiful gentle photos..I am in Hull,Mass.Thank you for reminder of beauty around me...
The photo of the dandelion is incredibly gorgeous! Good for you for seeing beyond the fact that it is a mere weed!
I bought a bicycle Saturday and had fun riding it (first time I've ridden in well over 20 years)!
What gorgeous photos!
Wonderful photos! Thanks for sharing your world with me!
I love the sound of a Robin singing. I know they are common birds, but I enjoy them just the same. Love the field of dandelions gone to seed. Did you ever blow on them and make a wish?
Hope your daughter had a good time at the Prom. When my daughter was in high school, she went with her friends and had a GREAT time!
I adore the Dandelion shot!!
