I had intended on posting the second part of my Durham/Oyster River post long before now but I've been preoccupied with my Mom lately. Seems I can't even think straight so working on a post is just more than I want to deal with at the moment.
Thank you for understanding and I'll be back to blogging soon. Maybe tomorrow, maybe next week, I'm not sure.

I hope everything is okay.
Completely understandable, Sharon. Big hug and know that I am wishing the best outcome for your mom.
Take care.

(take care of yourself too!)
Oh dear, I hope everything is okay, don't worry about us - we'll still be here when you get back! xxx
As I clicked on your blog in my Bloglines, I was saying to myself... I wonder how Sharon's mom is doing. I do hope she is OK and that she will continue to get some pain relief. Check in when you can Sharon and know that we are thinking of her, and you.
I'll keep your mum in my prayers.
I truly understand. Being a caregiver is sometimes overwhelming. Here, have a hug.
We'll be here. You're needed elsewhere.
Take all the time you need. We will be here patiently waiting for your return. Take care of yourself.
Of course we understand, I hope you mom will be feeling better soon
First things first! Take all the time there's needed - we have wonderful older posts to read. Take heart, Sharon!
Take care of mom, the rest will fall into place. Hugs to you and mom. Sea Witch
Totally understandable. Families come first! Your mom is very strong physically and emotionally which will aid her in a speedy recovery. She just has to remember to have patience and take her time!
Love,
-Mike
Of course we understand. Take care of yourself also. ((hugs))

I think about you both alot! I totally understand. If you need to fix a super easy meal Sharon for all, stop by and grab this easy recipe. The girls can even make it.
I wish I could make it and deliver it to your door step.
Hug you mom for me. It is a long recovery.
Much love and prayers coming your way!

Take care of your mom and don't worry about blogging.
Your blog will always be here, but unfortunately our parents won't.
We all understand.

Sometimes life interrupts the blogging world. We all understand. Take care and hope things go well for your Mom. We'll be here when you get back.
Sharon, hope things are all right. We will be waiting when the time is right.
Your posts are beautiful, but look after your mom. We can and will wait.
You take all the time you need with your mom.
I know some of what you are feeling.
We had my mother here for the last three months of her life as she died of cancer.
It was a very overwhelming time for me and my family, but of course love gets you through it.
I hope your mom recuperates from her surgery and has many more years of health after this.
Hang in there, it is an unnatural reversal of roles for a child to care for the needs of a parent 24/7 and I know how exhausting it can be.
Continued good healing wishes for your mom. Prayers of strength for you. Good thoughts are coming your way.
You take care of yourself Sharon, & really hope your Mother's recovery becomes more comfortable for her.
Our Mother's may worry about us but we also do the same with them!
My thoughts are with you both!
Will continue to enjoy what you've already posted anyway, so no rush X
Today I was going to write to you and tell you that your blog is my ALL TIME favorite! Your pictures . . sigh . . do you know how many of them I have saved? I use a different one everyday for wallpaper. SO many of the blogs out there are FULL of ego - not yours. You do it for the love of where you live and the artistry of your photography and I SO appreciate your efforts.
And the love for your mother just shines through. Sadly I lost my mother almost 20 years ago and even now, I can't believe I have lived that long without her . .
I wish the very best for you, your mother and family.
Kindest Regards,
Karen
You go where you are needed, Sharon. Sending lots of positive thoughts and prayers your way. :)
I was driving to work and went by about 20 wild turkeys in the field near the house. I thought of you and your drives. I did not have my camera but did not have time to stop even if I did.
Hope all goes well with your mother. I had spinal surgery 7 years ago. It was rough at first but it will get better. It's so hard on the leg.
Hugs to you!
So sorry that your mom has been in and out of the hospital. Trying times for the both of you.
I hope she will start to improve soon. Will keep her and you in my prayers.
Hi Sharon,
Send your mom my well wishes. As you know I've been busy too, but I wish your mom was just moving like mine and not having the problems she's having. Email me if you get time and let me know how it's going. Your pictures are just beautiful. Sadly they won't all load for me...my connection isn't the best. You really do a wonderful job on the town scapes! Very nice!
