It's always interesting when you put that memory card in to see just what you've captured. Sometimes it's better than what you think, and sometimes it's worse. And sometimes it's not what you thought you had at all.
This is a wonderful old farm in Stratham, NH. All the land is supposed to become conservation land, all 200 acres of it. Unfortunately they were having some disagreements concerning the stipulations so I don't think a deal has been etched in stone yet. I sure hope it all works out because the sunsets here are spectacular, not to mention the land is beautiful old time country farm fields. It would be a shame to see the fields filled with houses, or even worse, strip malls.

Ah yes, look at all those Geese. Please look at them up close. Make sure to click on the image one more time after you open it. I know, they're still hard to see. Yeah, they're decoys, and they got me good. Okay, so there were a few real ones off in the distance, even further away than these. Apparently it's hunting season.
I'm taking Lily for a walk now. Have a good Sunday!

Beautiful scenery photo's and I love love your new header. Wonderful.
Oh your new header is beautiful. Is it N. Hampton? It looks familiar. I love that farm and fields also. They go all the way down to the river. I drive past in the early morning on my way to work and the sunrises are spectacular. It almost makes getting up so darn early worth it. Unfortunately, I never have time to get any pictures as I'm on my way to work. I suppose I could go back at sunrise when I'm not working...nah!
Once again you have stunning photographs. It doesn't hurt that the scenery is so amazing, too!
Like your header! I would not have known they were decoys unless you told us. Raining and dreary here this morning - have not checked to see what the forecast is for later on today. Gave a great week.
I love the new header too, Sharon! Stupid me kept looking at the logs and trying to find the geese. Apparently I haven't seen many geese in my life - LOL!
Love your pictures
Nothing more appealing to the eye than just good old countryside. So much of it has disappeared in the past 30 years and I find it disheartening to say the least. These photos are lovely.

My ex-husband used to do that to me because he knew I couldn't see well at a distance. He always thought it was a laugh riot. Me, not so much.
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the new header...and the pictures...well, I just about melted when I saw them....everything I just love...and the decoys were funny...
Thank you so much for these wonderful pictures....
Wish I was there...
More later,
Kary
Beautiful scenery. The area will make a great conservation site. I hope things work out. I've been fooled by duck decoys in a pond before. I was so excited to see them and then realized they weren't real. You're doing a great job with the textures.

Good thing you didn't walk over! You could have been supper!
nice header! and three cheers for conservation easements,... is it through The Nature Conservancy? I love to see open space preserved.
Loving the banner once again and ah (sigh wistfully), I would give my right arm to live where you do...so so beautiful...my soul just says - you need to live there...alas! xxx
LOLOL.... I kept looking and looking, thinking, what? Are they not really geese but some exotic species never before seen in New England??? LOL!
Those silly geese!!
You had me fooled. I STILL couldn't tell they were decoys. Love the photos!
Funny! I wonder if the real geese were fooled?
I also meant to say - FABULOUS new header - WOW!!!
Yes, you got me, too! Thanks for the beautiful pictures, and for the laugh!
Decoys have gotten me like this, too! Beautiful photos here on your walk.
