TGIF!

The past few weeks have been a bit stressful to say the least. Between the girls going back to school, me going back to work, my mom being in the hospital, my aunt arriving from Florida, Field Hockey, my older daughters new job, trying to keep up with the house (which I gave up on), and errands ... I finally hit the wall Wednesday night. I felt exhausted, overwhelmed, somewhat depressed.

Yesterday (Thursday) was a tough start but once I made it to work things seemed a bit better. After work I had to wrestle with the broken garage door, of which it won so I left it open, feed the animals, eat, and change in 15 minutes, rush my daughter to her new job, then rush to a hair appointment. My first haircut in 2 months! It was like therapy. I love having my haircut, it feels so good, AND I look better! I arrived home to find my husband fixing the garage door and this:

A large bouquet of Lily's on the coffee table in the living room. He knew I was in distress and wanted to do what he could to help. It worked. He's so good to me.

Today I feel better just knowing it's Friday!

Aren't thoughtful husbands the BEST!
I having been having the same couple of weeks it seems:)Yikes! You feel like you will pull your hair out instead of having it cut!
Is it contagious? With teenagers in the house, aging parents, and school starting... it is crazy!
Hope next week goes more smoothly for you and and you can get back into your groove.
The flowers are lovely!

Hi Sharon. At times life can very very trying can't it? But when we are blessed with such a wonderful partner, all the troubles seem to melt away. I was exteemely lucky to have a wonderful husband too who bought me flowers every weekend from the day I met him!! Very spoilt I was, and loved every minute of it. LOL!! He also used to buy me chocolates which he ate as he knew I was not fond of them LOL!!
